On Ramp

If you're new to Cross-Training, this is the place to start!

On Ramp is a special program designed for those who want to start Cross-Training, but have no Cross-Training experience. It is also available to individuals who are familiar with Functional training , but have been out of the game for a while and need a refresher course. At Complete Fitness, we require that all members interested in joining our gym, complete a four session training program. These are private group classes led by a nationally certified CrossFit trainer and professional CrossFit Games athlete.

During On Ramp, you will learn these 9 foundational movements:

- air squat

- front squat

- overhead squat

- deadlift

- sumo-deadlift high pull

- shoulder press

- push press

- push jerk

- medicine ball clean

You will also learn other auxillary movements and exercises that we do in daily work outs, so you are prepared to jump into regular classes after On Ramp. We will teach you the proper ranges of motion for all movements to ensure maximum benefit of each movement and minimizing the risk for injury. We also teach the scales and progressions of each movement that meet your abilities, so you can increase your fitness levels.

This class is four weeks in length, consisting of four, one hour sessions. Classes are on Saturdays at 11am.

Athletes are required to attend four (4) consecutive On Ramp sessions.

Use of the gym/classes is included in the price of On ramp.
